SETUP


Step 1. Connections


Connect the Behringer CMD-MM1 with your computer using the provided USB cable.

Step 2. Drivers


No drivers are required to be installed. The Behringer CMD-MM1 is a USB Class Compliant device and your Operating system will automatically install the necessary drivers when the unit is connected to your computer.

Step 3. VirtualDJ


Install VirtualDJ 8 from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html (in case you have not done already)
Start VirtualDJ and login with your Account credentials.

A Pro Infinity, Pro Subscription or Plus CMD-MM1 Controller License is required. http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Detection Window
A detection window will appear when the unit is first connected with VirtualDJ, verifying proper connection

The CMD-MM1 is now ready to operate with VirtualDJ




AUDIO Setup


The unit is not offering any built-in audio interface and VirtualDJ will use your computer’s built-in sound card by default (if not any other is chosen).

CONTROLS






KEY

ACTION

S SHIFT
Hold this button down to access secondary actions of the keys as described in this guide
1CROSSFADER
Blends audio signals from the Decks assigned to the Left or Right side of the crossfader.
2VOLUME
Adjusts the Output Volume of the Left/Right Deck
3 CUE/PFL
Sends Left/Right deck's audio signal to the Headphones Channel for pre-listening
4 CF ASSIGN
Assign Deck as Left or Right side of the crossfader. If both buttons are off, Deck's audio signal will be routed to the Master Output regardless the position of the crossfader (TRHU)
5 LOW
Adjust the Low (Bass) Equalizer Band
6 MID
Adjust the Middle Equalizer Band
7 HIGH
Adjust the High (Treble) Equalizer Band
8 GAIN
Adjust the pre-fader Output Level of a Deck
9 OUT1
Adjust the Output Level of the Booth Output (if defined in the Audio Setup)
10 OUT2
Adjust the Level of the Master Output
11 LEFT BROWSE
Loads the selected track from the Browser to the Left assigned deck
Hold SHIFT to add the track to the Sidelist of Sideview
12 BROWSE
Scrolls through Folders or Files dependng on the selected Browser window
Push to toggle focus between the Folders and Songs Windows of Browser
Hold SHIFT to set focus to the Folders list and expand/collapse sub-folders if focus is on the Folders list already
13 RIGHT BROWSE
]Loads the selected track from the Browser to the Right assigned deck
Hold SHIFT to add the track to the Automix List of Sideview
14CUE VOL
Adjusts the Volume of the Headphones Output Channel
15CUE MIX
Blends audio signals from the Master Output and the Decks that have the PFL enabled to the Headphones Channel


Note : The CMD-MM1 supports any Mixer Channel order and is pre-defined to 3-1-2-4 Order. A different mixer channel order can be chosen from either the Mixer Options (in the 4 Decks skin) or the MixerOrder setting from VirtualDJ OPTIONS.
